- 450 gram ziti pasta
- 1 can marinara sauce
- 2 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 As Needed Salt
- 1 As Needed Black Pepper
- 2 cup ricotta cheese
Recipe Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the ziti pasta according to the package's instructions until it is al dente. In a mixing bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper until well combined. Once the pasta is ready, strain it and add it to a large mixing bowl. Pour the marinara sauce onto the pasta and mix until the pasta is covered in sauce. Add the ricotta mixture to the mixing bowl and mix until the pasta is well coated in the cheese mixture. Pour half of the pasta into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Pour the remaining pasta on top of the mozzarella layer and cover with the rest of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the pasta is heated through. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious baked ziti!
