- 3 tablespoon Olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 Tea Spoon red pepper flakes
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 medium Lemon juice
- 1/2 As Needed salt and pepper
- 1/2 As Needed fresh parsley
Recipe Instructions: Cook Linguine: Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Prepare Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until they turn pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Make Scampi Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant. Deglaze with Wine: Pour in the white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom with a spatula. Add Shrimp and Linguine: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Add cooked linguine to the pan. Toss everything together to coat in the flavorful scampi sauce. Season and Finish: Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the dish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss again to combine. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
