Recipe Instructions: Pressing Tofu: Use a tofu press or wrap the tofu block in paper towels and place a heavy object on top to press out excess moisture. Cubing Tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes. Mixing Marinade: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Coating Tofu: Gently toss the tofu cubes in the teriyaki marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes. Preheating Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arranging Tofu: Place the marinated tofu cubes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer. Air Frying Tofu: Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy. Garnishing: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the air-fried teriyaki tofu for added flavor and freshness. Serve Immediately: Air Fryer Teriyaki Tofu is best enjoyed hot and fresh.
